There's a few of us, but I'm in school in Champaign right now. Welcome o the board!

 

I would try and contact Dave Swanson a Rennlist member here. I know he and some other guys in the area had regular getogethers in the Chi-Town area. There are lots of us here - I'm pretty busy but I'm really going to try and make it to some water cooler owner events this year.

 

I am in chicagoland Place called woodridge on the west side

 

im in kensoha, right above chicago. and MrMunky and lead foot 944 are right here by me too. nice looking 968 by the way.

 

I'm in Ottawa, about 80 miles SW. Beautiful twisty roads out here in Starved Rock

 

I'm in Lakeview (or Wrigleyville if you want to be un-PC). There are quite a few 944s in this area, though they aren't in the best of shape...

I got no porsche up here (they are in ohio) but I am up for a meet! (I also want to inspect a 968cab see what changes they made since my 944s2 cab )

 

hmmm...I'm trying to think where woolridge is. I live in Mundelein, not too far south of chicago. If you and some others want to meet sometime just let me know. I actually just bought my car from Arizona last week. It's being shipped sometime thursday or friday of this coming up week, so I'm very very excited. I can't wait to drive it. I paid almost 20,000 bucks for a car I've never driven. The only Porsche I've driven is a 944 a long long time ago. I have tons of confidence in Porsche's performance and handling and thought this Porsche just looks so good, especially in convertible form. I can't wait. Hope to talk later,

Woodridge is more in the wouthwest suburbs, not the west. Next to Naperville and Bolling Brook. In fact 355 runs right by Woodridge. I live about 15 minutes from there in Lockport, which is next to Joliet.

 

But your in Champaign lol

A group of rennlisters get together on thursdays, once a month. Alternate in Elmhust and once in Chicago proper.

Most of the time we meet the second thursday of the month.

I live in Hammond, Indiana which is about 35 miles or so from downtown Chicago. Im pretty busy but I hope to make a get together some time. My car still needs a lot of work though :-( to look as good as it should
