Default Ebay Surprise.....

Two weeks ago I saw an Ebay auction for 993 Cup OEM wheels with R' compound tires, the guy said they were 968 / 993 fitments so I was thinking that I was getting a set of 7's and 9's because thats what 90% of the sets are out there. And I thought if I was lucky they would be 7 1/2 and 9's.....

Well the wheels and tires got to my door today and to my surprise the fronts were 17x8s.....

Does anyone know what these came on? They have a 993 part number on them, but I can't think of a 993 they would have come on....

All I can say is i'm quite happy about the purchase, the tires have a good track day or two left in them, and the wheels are in mostly good shape, now its a question of finishing off the 951 and getting it back on the road (if I had not wrecked my daily driver that would be much sooner)......

Are you sure they are 8's? You are measuring from inner lip (bead) to inner lip, right?

DO they say 8Jx52something or similar on them?

On the inside they have stamped into them 17x8....

So I would assume those are 8's....

Thats them.....

So super high offset, not sure how that will work on the front of the 951, but I will find out when I put it back on the ground in a month or so....
