St.lou 944s
I'm on my 4th 944(spanning 15 yrs).I 've had 87,85 1/2,84, and my current 83.It's glacier blue with side rockers, rear valence,16" Roh's,I went about 3 yrs without one and I felt incomplete. The body style is timeless and the performance is still a kick.My current edition has got 143,000 on it but still runs great.I am also a current PCA member. As far as shops go,I have had the majority done at Autos of Europe(on Manchester-ask for Boris) or Westport Autohouse(N.Lindberg).I work in the Westport area and see about the same 4 or 5 944's every day on 270.This morning,I passed one by Olive that I hadn't seen before. It was a platinum 944S and when I got next to it,I discovered it was being driven by what looked a gentleman that had to be in his 80's(maybe older). It was pretty cool, and he kind of gave me the head nod and kept driving (about 50 mph on the interstate).I envision myself doing that when I'm that old(maybe not in a 944 but some breed of P-car).Anyway,it's good to hear that the 944's are still strong in St.Lou.
