My bad...it should be the reverse:

H4 = left
Sealed beam = right

Tim, yes, I should be able to get good H7s. But I'm done ordering bulbs for a while so you would have to wait a few months. But if you can wait or want a stash for the future let me know how many you want and I'll get them for you once I can put in another couple hundred buck bulb order.

Alright, sounds good to me. I'll keep my eye out for bulb order posts in the future.

If possible, I would like the 55/60 50% at $18 each. If you don't have a pair of those, I would take the 55/60 30% at $10 each. Thanks. (And I'll try to pay more attention while I'm at work.)

Terry, drop me an E-mail at wraydan@msn.com so I can keep track of you. I may have a couple 50% bulbs, but know I have some 30% for you.

I'll vouch for Dan here -
Stating that the wiring harness is impressive would be like calling a Carrera GT 'fast.' It's true, but it certainly doesn't tell the whole story.

The fiberglass sheilding on the harness is temp resistant to something like 1300 degrees.

It's really a piece of work, and I don't think its possible for Dan to be making hardly any money on these kits with the quality of the components involved.

"H4 Osram BiLux 50% boosted bulbs"

What are these things? Will they be even brighter than the bulbs I got with your headlight kit? Interested in online ordering? I'm thinking about revamping the website soon.

Paul, thanks for the kind comments. I tell myself I am crazy everytime I start to build another run of harnesses.

Danno, these Osram BiLux bulbs are legal bulbs at the top of 55/60 watt output. They will not put out as much as an "illegal" overwatt bulb that is wired right. Period. These are for people that want as much forward lighting as they can get without doing a heavy gauge rewire.

They are selling like crazy in Europe for more than I'm charging. I think they are sort of expensive at $18 each but thought I would offer them to Rennlisters that were just getting headlight lenses rather than the whole wiring package.

Yes, we should talk about online ordering and some biz arrangements.

IceShark and Danno,

Don't forget that I also would like to do a website for online ordering of each your products. Guru chips and Full Boat lighting.

BTW the picture that was shown about the H4 and the sealed beams - was the H4 the "Full Boat" system or just the better bulbs and lens without the wiring harness.

Mr. Fong,

We should keep all options open and figure out what works best. Everyone needs to eat.

Ben's pictures on Danno's GuruRacing.net site were just the Cibies and 90/100 watt bulbs. He didn't rewire so you will be way over that light output when your harness is installed. Probably several hundred percent.

Ben took those pictures as a lark of sorts. To see if all this lighting talk was bull**** or not. Well, you can see it wasn't BS. I had nothing to do with Ben taking the original pictures or Danno posting them. Danno had bought some things from me previously and just asked me if he could post them and use my name. I said fine.

So the pictures and comments are from end users. I had nothing to do with it and didn't "doctor" the pictures like you see in so many lighting scams.

Steve, are you referring to the picture I posted on this thread?

I took it from research I did on the Internet. There was a guy who switched from the sealed beams to H4s on his Jeep. He took the picture which I posted on this thread. He did not mention the wattage on the H4s he used.

I posted it because it was a good generic example of the difference in the light pattern between sealed beam and H4s.

Yes the one you posted - thanks for the response - I understand.
