Hi Illi,

Maybe this will help... On my 914-6 3.0, I'm running an SC front end with 951 calipers. It works just great. Use a 19mm MC (914s are 17mm) .

To mount the calipers - the 951 uses a 3 5/8" CTC mount bolt pattern, and the ears of the SC/Carrera want a 3.5", so you'll have to take the calipers to a machine shop to get the mount bolts holes offset - ream both holes equally, to retain the caliper to rotor geometry. When they do that step, you also want to move the holes outboard by approximately 1.5-2mm, allowing for the fitment of the larger brake rotor OD. The rotor itself that you will use is a 84-89 911 Carrera rotor, which retains the pad swept area necessary, while only being 2mm thinner then the 951 rotor as measured new.

Anyway - hope this helps!

I painted my 914 calipers red. Not the same thing but looked nice.

I ran a 19mm and SS hoses. Stopped real good but no numbers to compare to.
