Thanks Michelle for the warm welcome to the group! I've been lurking around for a few months and picking up a lot of great information. Finally scanned a picture of "Glory" and put it in my sig.
To answer your question -- I'm not really near NY, I'm about 15 minutes east of Hartford

I'm about 30 minutes East of Hartford...
I think my location is listed under the avatar, but if not, I live in Willimantic, south of Storrs.
My wife and I are always willing to help fellow rennlisters if you need something for the P-car - tools, manuals, whatever.

Hi 97xray -- I'm not too far from you at all -- I'm in Manchester. Thanks for the kind offer! I haven't seen too many other P-cars in the area, although one morning I was driving on I84 and was right behind a red 944 and so I got up along side of him to check it out better and give a little wave, but the driver refused to acknowledge back. Obviously he wasn't one of you guys!
I bet you are missing yours as much as I am -- she sits in hibernation waiting for the better weather.
Eyal -- Yes, it was kind of a reply to another thread because Michelle's welcome was buried in some godawful long thread that started with a pic of a girl between two sports cars and a discussion ensued about girls not truly appreciating these cars and so I had to stick in my two cents. I was afraid that if I replied within that thread she may never find it! Besides, I wanted to say hello to everyone!
