Clicking noise when attaching battery
Clicking noise when attaching battery
it's coming from the thing right next to the oil filter
it looks like the starter solenoid but I guess it's not...
I guess I'm just wondering what this thing is,
and if the clicking is a problem.
???????????
I Had battery drain, but I'm not sure if it's fixed now from cleaning up loose ends....
it clicks when two of the three small red wires are attached to the positive battery terminal
I fried my last battery the first rainy day...after a week of sunny driving
I found some bare wires after that... and cleaned crud off the solenoid looking thing mentioned above and tightened one of the wires

Burning Brakes
Could be the relay for the headlight motor. There's a relay plugged into the motor assembly, but you can just disconnect the power plug on the side of the motor assembly.

Make sure the turn signal is in the neutral position. the 944 will light turn signal up when ignition switch is off if it's not in neutral. Also, try pulling individual relays until the sound stops. Then you'll have a handle on what you might be dealing with.
