Default Leaking fuel tank

I have drips of gas coming from the right side of the tank. After I park, it will drip a dinner plate sized puddle from 2 separate areas of the tank where it clamshells at the corner and, for lack of a better term, it"dogears". There is no gas puddling at the sending unit although I had that issue sseveral years ago. The tank is full, but after 5 minutes or so, it quits. I'm going to get a photo or two and post it. Might this be some of those "stress fractures" in the tank I see in the forums? I've checked the fill tube, filler neck and related hoses but I see no issues.

Here's the issue:

Early 944's and all 924S's had a metal fuel tank. They are notorious for cracking and leaking, especially on the top of the tank. Do a Google search, you should find several threads.

The other issue, as KD stated is the hoses leak. The vent hoses leak when the tank is full or spirited driving takes place.

In both cases, the only option is to drop the tank and find the problem, then fix.
