So, any of you Carolina area rennlisters gonna be at the track next weekend? I would love to have someone else there with my 'back.' Should be exciting...

Duke, that's sucks ***. But sounds like Jason is actually gonna go through with it. Just remember, despite the hard evidence, this person could have just ripped off an identity just for a name that wouldn't be tracked to him. Not everyone who get their identity ripped off gets cleaned out.
That being said, I'd come back ye, Jason, were it but a SHADE closer than the East Coast. C'mon, 'Listers, the call is out...
... we're formin' up a posse.

That's what I like about e-bay, at least there's some kind of feedback mechanism.

I have a deal with another rennlist memeber as well that is not looking too good. Paypaled the guy the money and no parts. I got alot of excuses early as to why he could not send the goods. I rode with it and now have not gotten any response to my last two emails in the past couple weeks.
I am not yet ready to reveal a name yet as I want to work this out, but i'f don't get at least a response I will start broadcasting it here to hopefully get some reaction from him.
The only good thing is that the deal was for less money than Duke's.
Duke I feel for you man.

Alright guys,
I sent the details and will mail him copies from our email conversations during the purchase and screen shots I just took from Paypal.
Note, I did manage to get through to him once on the home phone so I do know the name, address and number is real.
Thanks!!!
Gustaf

UPDATE:
I was in Camden today with the club race (pics later) and I called the house, talked to matt's dad. Nice Guy, he explained that the car threw a rod at some point, like in november, and was towed to a station and has been sitting there since. He said he was gonna consider parting it out or maybe selling it whole as a project, but that the only parts off the car were the ones his son sold to you Duke.
Since we know you didn't get all you were due, he said he was sure the rest of the parts were still on the car, sitting at the shop. Problem for me is that they are not open on the weekend, just mon-fri.
The Dad admits that he doesn't really know that much about the system (although he has a 944na and a boxster), but if you sent him pictures of what was missing, he would do his best to retrieve them. If the parts are indeed still there, I could go there on a day off, but that would probably be 2-3 weeks from now at the earliest.
Duke, he sounded very sorry about this situation with the son, which he seemed not to know about, and wanted to make it right. I can PM you his email and you could start by sending him pictures of what was missing.
Lemme know if you need me to go get the parts. (I may come back with a project car...)
