Locking Lug Nuts: Keyed to each individual car? Will Porsche sell you a new set?
Like many 944's, my car came with the original lug nuts...minus the locking ones. Were they keyed to each individual car? Is there any chance Porsche would sell a replacement set with the matching key number?

the oe locks took hours to pick, lube and remove. it wasn't fun and I imagined doing that roadside in the rain.
these look like regular lug nuts.

My original wheel locks. Don't use them any more, as I don't feel my wheels are in danger of someone taking parts from an 80's car. Think the Honda's are more desirable to part thieves.

I assume that tag with the "N45..." number on it is so that you could order new keys from Porsche? Is that number stamped on the keys themselves?

AkechiMotors..........the key for the locking nuts has a number on it (HP 205). I suspect the number on the black tags are for the ignition keys.
