944 headlight askew

Looks like the hinge on one side moved. It's either bent (unlikely) or it shifted. It's held on by three bolts which are going to be really hard to get to as they're on the fender side of the panel.
But it's possible, just loosen them up a bit, move the assembly, and tighten it back up.

Just make sure whenever you work on the headlights that you have your battery disconnected. Otherwise while adjusting the mechanism it’s easy for the motor to suddenly power the pop-ups and take your fingers with them.

The 'down' circuit of the light motor is always powered. If you turn the little manual ****, you can make them go up and back down to 'park position'. There's enough power in the motor and enough leverage in the mechanism and enough places where fingers will be pinched and possibly severed that it is a very real danger.
I had a pretty close call early on. Another inch in, a half-second slower reaction, and I'd have lost digits.
You can also disable it by unplugging the harness from the motor, if you don't want to take power away from the whole car (clock, radio presets, ect).
