The Enzo does 0-60 in 3.3 sec top speed 216-220mph cost $650,000
The HPA Golf does 0-60 in 3.2 sec top speed 202.6 mph cost $60,000
Hmmm they seem pretty close to me except in one area..........price!
Read the stats on the HPA before claiming it only does 140 mph.....

Modding a new car and voiding a manufacruters warranty is nuclear stupid in my opinion. Thats an assumption Im making on this VW.
I would rather drive with no insurance than drive that thing. Both, to me, are like having your *** hanging in the wind. Not with my money.

I was reading more into the posts and they said that they have tested the R32's driveline to 800ft/lbs. That seems like a very impressive number for a VW. The problem with sinking 25k into a car like that is although youve spent $60k on the car you still have a car that feels like a $30k car (except for acceleration) and you will never get even close to that back. For 60k I think I would much rather get a very nice low mileage 996 ( a much more balanced car).

And furthermore, Motor Trend tested the HPA's 0-60mph as 3.2 CORRECTED... as did another magazine, and two magazines privately tested the Enzo's to 3.3 UNCORRECTED, and 0-100 as 6.6 and 6.7 seconds! Factor this in with the Enzo not being meant for a straight line and it's killer Fiorano track times AND it's heritage and sound... I'm sorry but you obviously can't compare the two!! But hey, I'm drunk and this is just IMHO of course...
