FSAEracer03, I think the partern is fallowing the vains within the break itself.
Rich i love the profile of the car, the main reason i love the look of the 944, is the long wide, low hood and you've kept with that nicely
The rear is a nice looking set up also. Looks like a cross between the NSX and a C-GT lens.
I was hoping they would make a anniversary car some day, but i know it will not happen but i would like to think that with loyal 944 lovers, one day we will make a difference.

Three Wheelin'
Kewl design Rich!!!! I like it.....but...I couldn't resist messing around with it for a few minutes
Here's my tweaks on the original design to give it a bit more of the regular Porsche flair with a rear quarter window, slightly refined door line and smaller wheel wells.....
Feel free to like/dislike....just some thoughts of mine on your original concept. I used to design a bunch of cars and still do a lot of designing when doing my CG. Haven't done a car in a couple of years though. Every time I came up with a concept, some car company seemed to steal it (Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, etc.) so I decided I wasn't going to give them any more ideas and they'd have to come up with their own...hehe

Rich, I like it, man. Andrew's version as well. In my humble opinion, methinks the car need just a tad less hatch. It's awfully high into the roofline. Fenders and the rear look good.
But, I think the spirit of the 944 might be lost in a car that scales in at 3000 pounds. Keep the HP down to 200 (in NA form) and the weight at NO MORE than 2800 wet. You'd have an RX-8/ 350Z killer on your hands, then. Save the mondo-motor for a Turbo version. Just my 2 bits.

Rich...your last picture doesn't have a door handle...and none of your pictures have a passenger side mirror, and your second doesn't even have a drivers side mirror. What happened? Oh well, IMO that looks like a killer-tight ride!

Rotor vanes are swept forward for cooling. The holes go with the vanes. That is why the holes are also swept forward like the front one.
For the new car why don't they take half the pepperwagon's V8 and slap a turbo on it (they seem to have done a good job with this before). Then put it in the middle of a Boxter coupe. That would be a great combo. The catch is to keep the price in the low 40s.

Looks like a promising start Rich! I like the overall shape, only elements I would want to adjust are the front overhang and contour of the rear hatch.
Nice work!
