What do you guys pay?
I'm trying to get a feel for what other people are paying for full coverage cause I'm still shopping around for my new S2. If you could, tell me what year/model your car is, your age, and what company covers you. I hope I'm not overstepping any bounds by asking personal information I just need a little help in knowing what the average p-car owner pays.
TIA

86 951..29, married with child, house insured as well, state farm, one of the highest areas in the US, clean record, full coverage W glass & 500 ded.....$85 per mo. We pay less for my wife's new explorer.
State farm pays out really well in my area. A friend totaled his 86 951 with 112K miles and in good shape. They paid him 10.5K for the car and sold it back to me for 1750. He only paid 8 for it. He's looking for another one to wreck.

Full coverage, 31, single, State Farm, multi-vehicle discount, no-accident discount (been a long time since I had one) and a small discount for hospital pay should I get sick and end up in the hospital of $100 a day. The last item there actually lowers the insurance on my 2 cars by about $2...so I got more for less. Anyway, for the Porsche alone it's about $56 per month.

Liability only - Progressive - 26 &Single - I pay ~$700 /6 months
Comp & Colision - Progressive ~$1700 /6 months
And here's the reason, I live within the Philadelphia city limits, have only been living in the US for under 2 years, with a PA licence for less. Plus no real established credit history in the US.

Collision is what jacks the rates up so high. I have never been in a wreck(Knock on wood), and considering what i paid for my 951, it doesn't make sense financially to pay for collision. Liability is required, and comprehensive will cover anything that happens to the car while it is parked.

I'm 48, married, every discount you can think of - home too - State Farm - been with them since I was 16. For the '86 951 it's $360 every 6 months for full coverage - $500 deductable.

FYI our 944's qualify for "antique" car insurance - full coverage only $240/ year for me. Car must be over 15 yrs old, and you can only drive it less than 3k miles/year or so depending on the insurance Co. I use Great American for that policy.
