I will be purchasing a transaxle for my 944 and will need to ship to my location. Could someone tell me the approx. weight. I have yet to pull mine out so I have no idea. Any help with this????

 

Depending on the crating, it hovers around 100-110 pounds.

If it weren't -1F out I'd try getting a scale under my extra trans , about 100 lbs sounds about right.
Skip, how do you get it to hover???

LSD trans (R&P busted but all the pieces are in there), =122 lbs
No crate or anything, bathroom scale on garage floor, shop towel over scale so I don't have to listen to her later , stood trans up, aft end down. HTH!

Measured on a relatively nice digital bathroom scale, so as the women always say - could be subject to interpretation...
