Default TurboS2 9PSI dyno chart

We just dynoed our S2 Turbo conversion. This car is running 9:1 compression, custom rods, stock head, stock pistons, stock 951 exhaust, large injectors, ARCII MAF kit, pump gas (91), stock cams, stock chips.

The wastegate is stock and is very weak, so its getting replaced, it limited the runs to 9PSI, with terrible boost fall off on the top. We will be back on the dyno next week after the wastegate is installed.

The engine will be tuned to run 1 bar of boost, and with the turbo we installed for this conversion we are expecting some pretty impressive results at that boost level. I don't want to specualte and pick numbers, but we expect well into the high 300's in HP and TQ at the wheels.

This dyno chart shows Torque at 310.8 at 4500 rpm. With Hp at 303.6 at 5700 rpm at 9 PSI.

Only running 9 psi I bet the lag on that setup is low to none on the 3L engine. Those numbers are still pretty impressive, especially with a bum wastegate! I'm assuming that's hp/tq to the wheels right? My S2 needs a turbo....some day..some day...

Hi Dave,

yes, its at the wheels. I forgot to add that we are also running a 951 intercooler with this setup. The customer cannot wait until next week. I told him I will also run some race gas and set the boost at 20PSI for a craps and grins run :-)

Take Care!

Nice. That's about 120hp at the wheels over a stock S2! That thing will have some nuts at 1 bar.
