Can anyone help, I've just been outbid on Ebay again for a early '85 console. All I need is the silver trim plate that goes around the 3 gauges & lighter etc. My PO was obviously a smoker with bad aim and burnt the trim.
If any one has one please PM me with a price and I will gladly arrange shipping. there are so few 944's in AUS that I have never heard of anyone parting one out.

Why not pull the gage cluster, remove the gages, sand/fill the lighter marks, spray on some silver/bumper chrome, spray a clear coat, and then put the panel back together?

I will have an extra one come spring (car is snowed in garage and I plan to redo interior)..but..I agree with previous post about taking it out and repainting or recover it with something that matches (scrap brushed aluminum or something similar)....

Thanks for the suggestions, I did consider filling & repainting but i was worried about getting the color match correct. In reply to SoCal Driver I don't think the AUS models came with Fog Lights as there aint much fog down this way.
