Default Speaker Wire Colors - 86 NA 944

Haynes says one thing, Stereo FAQ says another... neither are right.

How can I find out which colors go to which speakers?

Just do what I did: Only hook up one speaker at a time.
Won't hurt your radio if you only run it a couple of seconds.
You don't even need to be on a station, static is good enough for your purpose.
Mark them so you won't have to go through this next time.
