yup, i do remember those younger "punk" days, my hair was burgundy, i liked it, and thought it was cool. i would still do something like that, but it seems kinda boring now.

mark is righ on that one, a stylist is in order.

of those two options, I would say to stay with what she's got. Better yet, let it go to what appears to be the natural light brown. Even better, go for a dark red.

Like patrat said, I think it would look best if she ditched the highlights and went completely natural.

 

I am also not one for the highlights, its all or nothing. Go for it, bleach it blonde, if ya don't like it, dye it brunett, if ya don't like that let it grow out. Your hair won't be straw if you get it done right, i've done it many times, Pink even, then there was blue and white, and mine is naturally black. You will regret it if you don't at least try it.

My sister is a very intelligent woman when it comes to "book smarts," but a little naive in the ways of the real world. She used to work as a waitress, which I won't knock, because it IS a hard job. But when the cooks told her to go to the basement (restaurant had no basement) to get the dehydrated water, she searched for the basement entrance for an hour before realizing she'd been the butt of a joke. Another time, one of the salad girls had been busy, so my sister decided to make the salad herself. Just as she was carrying it to the customer, the salad girl grabbed her and said "what are you doing?" My sister said "well, she asked for the dressing on the side." You guessed it- she had put a little salad in the middle of the plate and poured dressing around the edges!

When a girl dyes her hair it looses some of its beauty and becomes bland, all being the same color and loosing some of her personality..
