Default A-Tune KLR Chip

Should I be using the stock KLR chip with the A-Tune? I have read that it does not make a difference, but that was in some old posts. I have a Weltmeister chip in my KLR, and am wondering if this can cause any issues.

Thanks

For my M-Tune, I had to use the stock KLR chip to get the most predictable results. Learned from experience the hard way.

That makes sense to me. I have zero knowledge about how the chips and programming work, but my assumption is that if after-market chips are programmed to work in tandem, different KLR chips would have at least some effect on the functionality of the system. It seems like the A-Tune design would assume the characteristics of the stock KLR chip are being used.
