best place to buy valves?
where can i find the best prices on valves for a 90' S2. i need all 16. the best price i have found so far was at pelican parts. $20 for intake and $30 for exhaust. i also need a head gasket set. i have only seen one and it was for $180. that seems steep to me because the S set is about $140.

it's progressive!
86' N/A head gasket set is $120
88' S head gasket set is $145 to $150
S2 head gasket set is $180 to $200
As for the valves, you're probably getting a good deal.

I have 16 good valves from my old 16V S2 head. I just have to take them out. I also have two sets of valves springs that go with those valves. One I replaced at 130K miles and the second set (brand new) that I only put on about 3K miles on. The new head came with all new valves/springs/retainers installed.
Let me know if you're interested. The old valves have a 5 angle valve job on them, just fyi.
