Default Cruise Controling again

After replacing both the servo and cruise control box with my questionable spares my cruise control briefly worked again but shortly went back to "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead"* mode when engaged. This morning a local Gendarme followed me for a few miles and I found myself wishing my C/C was operational. I pulled the circuit board out of my original unit today and examined every solder joint with a jeweler's loop and found a couple of cracked joints. Just like on the faulty DME relays the cracks showed up as a ring in the solder blob. Reflowed those joints and swapped it back in and now it operates properly Next time a police car finds it's way behind me I can hit the cruise and no more "I can't drive 55" *
* Thanks to Tom Petty and Sammy Hagar

That's what it takes! Gotta keep the old cars running.
