Default Power steering pump

With the belt off, how easy should it be to turn?

Mine doesn't free-spin at all...

I'll give it a good spin and it'll go for maybe an 1/8 of a turn...is this normal??

TIA,
Adrial

If you mean by just giving it a whirl and expecting it to continue spinning, no it won't do that. It should turn freely with no feel of grinding or binding up at a certain spot.

Also FYI you gotta change to the manual steering rack to get the true "83 944" feel
