Fuchs Value
Hello all, I am trying to find out the current value of my set of 4, 951 Fuchs. 16x7 and 16x8. The rims and center caps were bead blasted and powered coated. The outer polished lip was spun on a lathe for perfect finish. They have never been installed. Thank you for any input.

If these Fuchs came back from Harvey Weidman or Al Reed with a factory finish and anodized lips, vice powder coat and polished lips, then they would probably be worth ~$3k [~$600+/ea 7", ~$800+/ea 8", ~$1000/ea 9"].
As is, while they look nice, with the non-OEM finish, it really depends on the buyer. From my perspective [prefer anodized lips to polished]...closer to $1k than $3k. How much have you seen them listed for on ebay? GLWS.

Those on bat were restored by a known professional wheel restorer to factory finish using Wurth products and correct anodizing on the lips. They were also crack tested and checked for straightness. These are non original finished generic powder coated with incorrect polished lips and sold without any warranty as to internal stresses, cracks or straightness.

So, what did the professionally restored Fuchs on BaT sell for? What combination of 6s, 7s, 8s, and/or 9s were they? 911 or 951 part numbers/offsets?

I totally agree with both Mike and Allen's assessments;
the 'lathing' or cleanup will seriously take away some of the strength if too much is removed, and does lend to a less than 'factory original' or anodized look, which has a more 'marbeled appearance' or a liquid mercury cast to the finish, rather than shiny or polished.
The backside of those center caps should also be cadmium plated as opposed to black, a small thing but as shown, incorrect.
