Default Strange behavior on neutral

Car is 944. When i'm doing about 60km/h, put neutral in, take foot off the clutch and car just rolls. Then I rev motor over 4krpm, and car slows down! Not much, but I can feel it. Since clutch is up and neutral gear is in, engine shouldn't affect on wheels in any way. How can this happen, and most important, is this normal?

Another question about 944 ('86, newer interior) doors. There are some kind of vents on the side of each door, what are the purpose of these? Since volume inside the doors has direct effect on bass-performance of the speakers (will put 6.5" there), and there's direct connection to the rear sides through these vents, I was thinking on closing them. Can I do that?
