ouch.. hey take my advice:

If they have the clutch out to do the rear main seal - get a new turbo cup clutch in there!!!

no the clutch hasn't been replaced....its fine and so is the transaxle...

Why did they go clear into the rear main seal? That is a big job. and not replacing anything?

Enjoy your P car and your knowledge that most of it is ok.

I never drove my Porsche after I bought it until I did the routine maintinence. Hell, it even had a vaccuum leak and I didn't drive it till I found the faulty hose, replaced it, changed the timing, alternator, and balance shaft belt, rotated the tired, changed the break pads, and THEN I finally started driving her. =]
