Default Reading PA timing belt check!!

I replaced my timing belt and was wondering if there is anyone in the area who would look over my work to make sure it looks good. This is the first time I have done this and I think everything is correct. I have the 9201 tool.

are you looking to sell your 9201 tool? If not, where did you purchase it? I'm in the process of doing mine as well. Thanks

No I am not planing on selling the 9201 tool. I bought it from somebody on the email list I believe. If you keep an eye out you will see somebody selling them every so often. If you want to borrow one instead maybe we can work something out send me an email and we can discuss it tazz.mann@verizon.net

If this turns into a PA get-together, keep me posted.

Unfortunately/fortunately I've never done a timing belt, I had a shop do it, so can't help much.

Thanks,

Mickey

I sent mochman a PM. I wouldn't mind having a get together after we check the belts. I would host something but I live in a small place and the garage is rented and not even at my house. So I can not have a group of people at the garage. We could meet at a local place for a couple of beers or something if people want.

Thank You

tazman,
I'm right down the road in Sinking Spring. I had my belt done by Jason at Dubbles on 183 just North of the airport. He's a good guy and always treats me right. Much better than that Porsche dealer across the street from him! He does alot of 944's and is really knows his stuff. I'm guessing you don't want to pay to have it looked at so I can't help you there.

Steve that is where I take my car for state inspection! If I run the car to take it there then I would assume I don't really need to take it to them And don't ever take your car to the Porsche dealer I had such a bad experience with them when they were on Lancaster Ave. that I will never go back to them. This is more of a hobby for me and doing the work is part of it plus then that leaves more money for mods! Your car wouldn't happen to be red would it?

tazman,
My cab is black. I'd be interested in PA get together too.

I talked to mochman and it seems we are going to do a last minute deal towards the end of the week. If some people want to get together some time I am all for it. Should we wait until it starts to get warm or what?
