That is what I needed to know. I am looking for some C-2 rims and found a set for $400.00 but they are the borbets. $400.00 spent on something that will bend is a waste. Keep saving for a set of Factory rims then.

IIRC, the Borbets are the heaviest C2 replicas made. I would look for some Mille Miglias, or if you save up the cash, a factory set. I have these on my 951 and they're made at the same Italian foundry as the replicas, but of a lighter alloy.
Besides their cost, they're also hard to find. I bought mine from Wheel Enhancement. Part numbers are:
Fronts: 7.5x17" C2 Turbo cast alloy wheel (65mm)
965.362.124.05
Rears: 9x17" C2 Turbo wheel (55mm)
965.362.128.00

I have mille miglias and alas two are bent from hitting one pot hole in the dark. I had them straightend as best as I could but they still are not true. When I put the old phone dials on the ride is smooth as glass. The Replicas are not. So I am looking for factory rims. Keep saving those pennies.

Im getting the borbet C2's from a guy here on rennlist. I didnt know they bend so easy. They wount bend when your driving would they? Only when you run over something right? I mean are they that bad?

Antonioali, it's not that Borbet or any replicas are all that bad, it's just that stock wheels are generally very high quality. When people who track their cars can't afford pricy racing wheels, cheap used stock wheels are always a reliable option. You don't see many phonedials on the street, but lots of track cars have them.

I have the Mille Miglia 993 Replica's on my 911, no problems no bends..
Now I have run both Borbet C2T replica's and factory C2T's on 951's and I can tell from experience that the Borbets are NOT as strong as the factory wheels and do bend easier.
Just my .000951 cents.

Hey guys!
I must also comment on this, seeing as i've had borbet 17" C2's for a few years now. I have had no issues with bending, most people do agree that factory wheels are stronger. In general as you increase wheel size you run the risk of bending, i also have a set of 951 PD's right now and the rears are both bent. So factory wheels arent perfect![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
So i guess overall my experience is for street usage i see no issues with borbet C2's...Just watch out for p-holes in the dark!
Thanks!
