Default PET for 1984 944 n/a

Does anyone know where I can purchase (cheap) the full PET parts schematics for a 1984 944 n/a? Or is there an online resource to get this information? Quite frequently I'm not sure what part to order, and seeing the schematics not only provides the part number but gives great info on how something is put together. Pelican Parts is pretty good at faxing me parts fiche, but it would be a lot easier to have my own set. I bid on one on e-bay once, but I stopped when the bidding got above my limit. Thanks.

PET is a copyrighted software that is not LEGALLY available to the public. Offers of this material on Rennlist is a potential problem for Rennlist and anyone else involved, your best bet is to stick with EBAY and keep a low profile as PCNA lawyers seem to love their jobs.

You may want to check out the "Admin: Please Read - A Reminder" post at the top of the page.

John D., A better title for that thread (EG. "RE; PET & Shopmanual downloads") might get the info to where it is needed!

Dave: Thanks for the info, I had no idea PET was copyrighted. The last thing I need is to get on the wrong side of PCNA.

I read through the Admin post (you're right, I never would have recognized it by it's title) and I see that the PET copyright issue has been a hot topic in the past. I'm going to choose not to get involved in that discussion, and if Santa magically brings me the PET I'm looking for, that is great.
