Default need a part # from a early car.

I need the part # for the sunrrof switch on a early car. I have 3 of the switches for the 85.5 and later, but I need one for my 84. I have tried to order one twice and both times they sent me one for a later car. I have 3 of these later switches if anyone wants to buy one. 15.00 plus shipping.

I have 3 of those. I can raise and lower my sunroof, but it won't let it release so I can take it out. I know that my workings are working because I can jump across 2 of the pins on the plug and make it release. I need the part # for the older one. Vertex and Tweeks both carry it, just trying not to spend extra if I don't have to.

Are you putting the key in the #1 position to remove the roof? It's the first click, nothing lights up, just activates the roof for removal and unlocks the wheel. That is the part# that I'm getting from PET too.

Yes, that is what I'm doing. I can jump across 2 of the pins on the plug and release it. If you have the new Tweeks catalog, it is on page 149 bottom right hand corner. Tweeks part # is 402-276. I was hoping to find a used one to save a buck or two.
