968 turbo's on Excellence
Just openend the latest Excellence Magazine and was surprised to see Trevor and Dan's 968 turbo featured in there. The article is also written by another Rennlist member Karl Glynn. It was nice to read about fellow Rennlister cars whom I've met.
Great articles Karl.

Hi Efren,
Thanks very much for the compliments.
In truth, the article came together because of the time and effort put in by Dan de Gruchy, David Raines, John Anderson, Konstantin Kotitsas, Trevor Ridgley and Pete Stout (editor of Excellence who had to turn my scrawl into something that could be printed!). I'd like to extend my thanks to all of them.
Whilst many folks on Rennlist and 968.net are familiar with these interesting 968 turbos, it's nice to have had the opportunity to expose them to the wider Porsche community in the US.
Karl.

I don't have a subscription so I can't see it until the feb issue hits the stands here in the bay.
HUUUUGE thanks and congrats to Karl, nobody knows how much time and effort he put into this thing...I just have to see it! And once I find it I'm buying 15 issues!!
It's been a long wait but definitely worth it.

Hey Trev, are you gonna charge for autographs at Hershey now? lol
Congrats! You have worked hard and deserve the recognition! And Karl, great job! Does this mean you are going to contribute more articles?

Karl had two articles on this issue.
I've spoken to Karl several times in the past year or so the first time was the Northern Cal Dyno day and had no clue that he was involved with 'Excellence" Magazine.
Karl, you're now a celebrity among us. Great Job again.

Speaking of 968 Turbo cars in Exc911ence, whatever became of the Kelly Moss ~400HP conversion featured in the June 1999 issue? It was being offered for sale at $58K obo. The hood loeuvres and fenders on that car were works of art.

I received my copy of Excellence yesturday. Congrats on a very nice article to all who were involved! I found it very informative. I did not know what a wonderful historian/authority Konstantin Kotitsas is on the the 968. I could be wrong but, I even think my car was indirectly referenced by Dan on regarding the stand alone computer and lack of California emmsions standards
Again, Wonderful Job!

Great article, I love to see our cars get some of the attention they deserve. And this proves they do deserve it. What is the driving impressions after all the mods were done? Is it harder to control the throttle response in town or exiting turns?
