1987 944S - where is the door wiring harness plug located for both the driver and passenger doors? Trying to chase down a wiring issue on my electric mirrors (common ground wire on mirror adjustment motors). Believe the problem to be in the plugs. Wiring diagram indicates a 7 pin plug door wire harness on right and 10 pin on the left side. Don't believe that they are inside the door itself. Possibly in the left and right side footwell?

 

PET and this image show it going through the rubber boot at the front of the door and behind the side kick panel. Looks long enough that you might not have to remove the side carpet to see the plug, but it'd make it easier to trace if you just remove the carpet.
