EDIT: Actually, after looking closer at the picture, you can see the sternum strap on the passenger belt. The latch at the top... that is actually the latch for the sternum strap. Unfortunately, the picture doesn't give a true visual as to what the whole setup looks like. To view an accurate picture, it would be best to see it when someone is strapped in.

Sport seats are definitely more awkward for getting in and out, moving around, etc. And they are too narrow for those of you with generously endowed butts. I sure like the way I can corner at high speeds on twisting highways without waking my wife, asleep in the passenger seat! I love mine.
BTW, mine have 964 part numbers on them (yes, they were a factory option), so that is one possible source for sport seats. I assume they would bolt straight in.

Yeah, the only prob I can see w/them is getting over the huge bolsters- the shape of the normal seats seems more for larger (pear-shaped) individuals- no offense meant to ANYONE- but the shoulder section is a little narrow for me, while the waist part is wide & I'm not exactly shaped like Arnold or Lou- I'm just of slightly athletic build- never spent enough time in Sport seats to be sure, BUT, they do seem to have more lumbar & THAT can be VERY nice....
