Default S2 doesn't have any holes for the front plate bracket - am I suppose to drill them?

I did a search, and it wasn't clear to me how the front license plate bracket mounts to the bumper. Some people mentioned there were holes to accept the stock front plate bracket, but my bumper doesn't have any. Am I missing something? I can't imagine Porsche expected owner to drill into their bumpers? If that's the only way to make the stock bracket work, I'm get one of those brackets that uses the tow hook, but I'd prefer to use a stock plate if I can.

I faced the same dilemma as you. I purchased a tow hook mount and love it. Easy to take the plate off for working under the hood (spares the shins) or cleaning. Sometimes I just leave it off because the front end looks so good with no tag.

I faced the same dilemma as you so I purchased a tow hook mount and love it. Just spin the tag off when working under the hood to save your shins. Sometimes I leave it off because that Turbo nose looks so good without a tag to clutter it up

So they don't come drilled with holes from the factory, and you're suppose to drill them yourself? No way I'm doing that. Where did you get your bracket?

Google “no drill license plate bracket”, there’s a bunch of options out there that may work for you.

Do like many California performance car drivers do and mount the front plate in the trunk!

A virgin, un-drilled front bumper cover is awesome! Preserve it, because they're unicorn rare.
