Borg-Warner wires? Should be BERU solid core with the resistor ends.
High HC's are the result of improper ignition or running rich or both. Incomplete combustion.

I had to order a new fuel injector today. While trying to get this thing fixed up to pass inspection I have found one of my injectors was leaking.
Got the "o" ring seal kit (OEM Bosch kit, no less) still leaks, moved it to 2 different cylinders, still leaks. Figure the injector is just shot and leaking from the inside...?? Would that give me my rich mixture???
Got a email today from Vertex with a 10% discount for any orders through EOY, so, new Bosch injector for 57.60 + shipping. No afilliation, just thought it was a good deal.
I have gotten REAL good at removing the fuel rail. Best time on last go was 8.3 minutes

if you're not worried about it, but don't wanna spend money to fix it. Considering the emissions is like it is in Memphis where you drive through and it's pretty basic, you can disconnect an injector wire (preferrably to the broken injector for you) and go through like that. I was 2x the legal CO limit and it passed with VERY small traces of CO the second time. I promise it will work, but it will be a short time solution. It takes about a minute to disconnect and about another minute to reconnect afterward.

SoCal,
It is leaking at the "O" ring where it seals into the cylinder. It is puddleing up right around the orfice.
It is getting fuel to run, but leaking also.

That's bad but it's not going into the intake. Are you sure your fuel rail is not cracked?
Well I guess if it's leaking on the outside it just might be leaking on the inside.

Positive.
I am on my third rail. I can spot those leaks pretty good now. This is like bubbleing up from the hole where the injector seats into the head.
It has to be the injector. 3 different "O" rings on 2 different cylinders, and this is the only one that leaks like this. No matter where I put it it leaks the exact same way.
I'm just thinking that if it is leaking then it is possibly not "spraying" or "injecting" correctly either.
