F/S: 924S Project Car!
AHHH! Well I can't afford to fix the 924S
Yep, I'm that broke, plus I don't get much help from my parents. So it's time to give up the car.
Let me tell you about the car and the problems:
1988 Porsche 924S
I bought the car at 60k miles or so, odometer broke at 63k, and I'm estimating the engine has a little over 80k miles. I barely drove this car. I've only owned it for a little less than a year. It was just used for school, work, and those types of things. It had was damaged when it had hit a bump (belly pan was off) breaking the a/c compressor, p/s pump, some bracket, and the stablizer bar. I HAVE THE PARTS TO FIX IT! I installed the stabilizer bar, and I have the rest of the parts sitting in a box. It's also have one bent phone dial rim, which you can easily find. I started the engine yesterday and thats work fine, but you have to fix these parts before you even think about driving it. I'm no mechanic, but those are the major problems you have to deal with. It's an automatic, and the tranny shifts great. No problems. The car is dark metallic type blue, with a tan interior. The interior is not bad. The drivers seat has a slit in the seat, but the passengers is in good shape. The back seats are like brand new. Everything in the car looks pretty good. Like every other porsche, it has it problems, but this is def. worth it.
I'm asking $800/obo, if you can come down and check out the car, and offer me something that would be great.
The car is located in North Jersey. It def. has potential to be a daily driver, track car, or even if you need a parts car. The car is running, but you seriously need to fix the a/c compressor, p/s pump, some bracket, and hook up the belts before you drive this thing. I'll try and post pictures, but I can't afford a digital camera, so we'll see what happens.
If your interested, just PM me, or give me a call at 973-573-2222.
If I can't find a buyer, than I'll just part the car. But I hate to deal with the trouble.

I'm serious, but if someone can give me $1k for the car including all the parts I bought, you can have it. I don't need the headache, and I need the money to buy a car. So if anyone is interested, get in contact with me.
Bump.

Since you have the parts to fix it, you might get more interest in it if you go ahead and install the parts. Although there isn't much of a market for a running automatic 924s, there is even less of a market for a non-running automatic 924s.

$800 or best offer.
I don't need the car to stay all winter in my driveway. You can see the car in person. It's worth the trip to look at the car. Read first post for description of problems. Car needs work, but runs.

My dad is on my case, so the car has to go. He doesn't want it taking up "important" driveway space. Plus, he was about to donate it to MADD, until I convinced him I'd sell it. I hate to see the car go to a place that won't have use for it.
The parts I bought were well over $300. It may be an automatic, but the parts off this car will add up to more than $800 including the ones I just purchased.
