well, until i get the motorcycle, someone has donated me a yamaha moped, made in 10/79. i'm fixing it up, and i am in need of a few parts. i need a headlight (sealed beam), taillight bulb, and a couple tires.
the tires are 14" by 2", basic bicycle tires... anyone know where to get em?
the headlight is a koito part number 110-71838, 6V 20/20W
the taillight is a GE 1034 (should be easy enough to find)
anyone have any experience with mopeds like this, and/or know where to find some parts?
this will serve as my daily beater up here in daytona till the motorcycle shows up/gets fixed up... and my baby will stay covered up and not get any miles![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

sounds good, i hope they won't be costly though... i'd like some of the same 'yokohama world tour 956' tires taht are on it, but i'd settle for some cheapo wal*mart tires... all i want is some new rubber. i'll give him a call though and see whats up.
thanks man!

Well, they are wheels, and they are yours.
It looks like it's been sitting for a while.
If it's a two stroke, your biggest problem will be the crank seals in the bottom end. If they go the engine won't run, and it won't be worth fixing it. Make sure you run it for a while and it doesn't smoke much before investing in things like tires. The bore could be rusted too.
That seat is just nasty, but it could be covered if you know someone with a sewing machine.
Good luck, but don't get carried away.
