Question Normal Idle When Cold

Just like to know if it is normal at all for the 944 to idle slightly high when really cold. Im talking low 20's here.

About two weeks ago the car would idle at 2000 RPM's for about 10 minutes, then drop back to normal. The odd thing it's idle was normal all last week. Now that it got very cold this morning it is now ideling much higher.

I know there is a lot on this topic, but the archives really didn't have the answer I was looking for.

Thanks in Advanced Guys

I have the same problem with my Corrado when it's cold. Not sure what causes it, but it goes back to normal once the car warms up.

What about a vac leak? Once the metal heats up and expands it seals up and everything runs fine

Mine '86 951 just sits at about 900-1000 the whole time no matter the temp.
