Default A couple of wheel questions...

...that I was unable to find any results for while doing both a Rennlist and non-Rennlist search.

Recent conversations with various forums have lead me to ask:

1. Has Porsche ever made the Cookie Cutter wheel in a 15x8 fitment. The faq guide lists during 1984 to 1986 a 15x8 wheel with a ET10.6mm but does not state as to whether it is a cookie cutter, phone dial, etc. 15x7's cookies are ET 23.3mm for both the 944 and older 911 fitments I assume?

2. Porsche has referred to the term "winter wheels" in various tech bulletins as well as our owners manuals. Has Porsche ever manufactured a typical winter "steelie" type wheel for winter applications as opposed to using older or less pristine alloys to do the winter duty? If so for what models (particularly 1985 or so and up) were they available and in what size were thay made. It sounds like a "Europe only" kind thing if it was to exist.

TIA for any and all help from you wheel fetish fiends.

It's a Fuchs wheel (the 15x8).

Thanks George!
That's one down and one to go........

Anyone ever seen a Porsche with factory "winter" steel wheels?

Again, thanks in advance to one and all for the help.
