I got a pretty cheap offer on an RX7 TII located in Toronto. If I can get the owner to lower it down enough I might drive up to Toronto and buy the car. How easy is it to get the car through the border? What would I need to do? Tow the car? Dealer plates? And is it pretty easy to register the car within the US?
Also, if anyone can do me a favor and check this car out, that would be just great. It's hard to trust owners.

The only time I was involved in a Canada-US car transfer, it was no hassle at all. I drove an 8 year old Jetta down to Pennsylvania, signed a document in front of a legal notary, and that was it. Maybe that's the key - have the Canadian owner drive it across the border, then transfer ownership in the US ...
