Porsche CD player
#2
At one point I had mine fixed. The only place that it could be done was at the dealership. In my determination , it was a waste of money as it broke several times after (warranty but not worth it) For the about the same price or less I got an Alpine unit from Circuit City installed. The unit can be upgraded.
No association with Alpine or Circuit City. But I love my Baby

Well I still have my brand new one I put in my old car so I will prolly just swap it out.
the Porsche unit is 80's tech anyway, but I was thinking it would be ok for the "stock" look.
cheers

The problem is as CS players get old, they tend to "drift". Even if you
get the read head recalibrated, it's going to drift again sooner then it did
before.
Isn't the "Porsche" CD Player just a Blaupunkt (BlueDot) with the Porsche
name on it?
