First thing in the spring, right after installing my 968 RST wing, I will be lowering my rear end with the eccentric's....with some new 250 lb front springs. I haven't decided about new struts though..I remember there was an article in Excellence a while back on this procedure..it was done to that white 944..I willl dig up the article from my library of Porsche magazines...

I'm just waiting until I have the necessary fundage to buy the front springs and KLA rear shocks before I do that. I mean, hell, I can do it now, but since I'm saving up to go back to school, my priorities are a bit different...

The procedure in Excellence done to white 944 was to fit the Koni Sport 8641-1414S cut-n-drill struts into late model sealed units. You have an early model with rebuildable/user-replaceable strut inserts - simple gland nut style.
The Koni Sport appliation for your early car is 8641-1038S.
You can find instructions for that type on our tech site:

Good Luck!

Skip what would you recommend for the front end of my early 944 in order to lower it no more than 1 inch, without sacrificing stock ride feel...If you have some ideas or some products available PM me the info...
Thank you
