Default 924’s junkers

Does any one know why so many of the original 924’s are junked I mean I rarely see a decent pre-S on eBay that’s good ,any one have thoughts on this?

Cost to fix vs Value of Car

most of the time it is more valuable to strip them down and sell the parts.....

Someday they will be rare because of the current low value, and then many of us will be kicking ourselves for stripping/junking them...

Man, I'm seeing 914s popping up all over EBay for half what I paid for
mine, and most in better condition!

It scares me and hurts me at the same time.

There are 2 924's at a salvage yard here in Nashville. He wants a 1000 for both of them. They are complete cars, with interiors ripped out. I'm always checking the yards close by for 44's . They usually call me when they get one. If anyone is interested let me know. I can probley get them for cheaper.

because the 924s are so cheap, they make for good cars to do welding tricks, like trick mod the engine bay for an 951 engine. one day.....
