That may be the theory but in practise there is little impact. The jigs always snug up to the mounting points with about the same level of firmness. That is indicating to me that longitudinal expansion or contraction is trivial. In addition whatever expansion or contraction does occur is going to be pretty much uniform across the length of the jig so the line marks (distance from centerline) will remain equidistant and the lines will remain parallel down each side of the car and that is what counts for the alignment. At the end of the day the results are speaking for themselves. I would say that it is all conditional on taking measurements in a consistent fashion and setting things up accurately to begin with.

Thats the good part. 4 Wheels, 2hours, Hunter alignment machine, 15years computer alignment experience. $69 total. I'd call that a good deal Its not often I take my car to a shop for anything but this shop was recommended to me by a 911 mate and I have no hesitation in recommending it to other P car drivers here.

Need a shop like that around here.. ;| Not a single place will do an alignment on our cars in the extended area besides specialty shops and the dealer, who ask atleast 200 USD for a full alignment and rear ride height eccentric adjustment. I have an alignment scheduled with the dealership for next week...

Any suggestions as to how to find a place that will do one for 69?

Thanks,
Sach

That is what I am looking for. So does anyone know of an inexpensive decent alignment place in Georgia?

John
