Meatball reflectors must go! Please make them not so.

Looks great.
I actually kinda like the rear reflectors, although I do confess to welding them closed in my own build

ian, how did you attach the rocker panels, hood scoop, and rear flares? I’m thinking a 2 part epoxy

Things are going to slow down a bit again. My plan is to get the suspension / brakes all sorted, and to finally make a decision on what engine I am going to run before it goes back in for paint.

They will be gone, no worries. The reflectors (I always thought of them as bicycle reflectors, but meatball works too), the passenger door mirror holes, and the antenna hole all need to be welded up at some point in the future.

I'll snag some pictures for you. But the hood scoop and rear flares are all bolted in place. Bonding was an option, but I was told the different expansion rates between fiberglass and metal can cause problems over time.

the 1.8t or 2.5 audi engine may be neat. Honestly I liked the S2 idea you had as well. Looking good man.
