Get AAA or a can of fix-a-flat.

scootin159... how did you get the infinity 6.5's to fit in the rear? You said no modification, do they just screw in?

On 87+ there is a 6.5" adapter plate inside with a 4x6" speaker in it.

oh wow, huge difference, I'm definately going to go with the infinity's. Now regarding the front did you have shave off some of the metal around the opening to fit the 4x6 infinity's in there, or what was your procedure.

I have Infinity Kappa's 4x6 in front and rear (cab). Kicker Comp 8ohm 400w 12" sub in truck box in the trunk (so nothing else now fits in there) with a 200w amp

You just have to enlarge the hole a little bit to clear the bracing on the speaker. I used a dremel, didn't take long at all.

The previous owner loved his music however he also loved to blow his speakers. When i got the car I had two 3 inch speakers in the front doors (BLOWN), two 4x6's in the front doors (BLOWN) and the rear speakers were "ok" I havent replaced the rears or the 3inch's yet but i replaced the 4x6's with a pair of pioneer's which sound absolutly wonderful. I'm hoping to replace the rears sometime this winter and add a small sub and possibly get a new amp. The car also came with a nearly new Sony Xplode head unit and what appears to be an extremely aged blaupunkt amp.
