Sources for oil pressure relief valve
Does anyone know of a cheap source for the updated one piece oprv? My oil pressure delay has dropped significantly, but it still takes about 3 seconds to build the pressure. Also, does anyone know if it would be worth getting a used one, as aribop has one for sale? Thanks in advance.

Keep In mind there are two different vales depending on year. One is longer than the other. Just replace the orings on the used replacment and it should be fine.

'83 to '86 use the shorter one piece valve (944 107 035 11), '87 on use the longer valve (944 107 035 01). They started using the one piece oprv starting July 1986 (1987 models). Please note: from production date of July 1986 to production date Oct. 1986, the one piece valves did not recieve the anticorrosion treatment. The TSB does show affected engine numbers if your interested. Also some 1987 924S cars use the shorter valve depending on engine number.
