Question on ECU tuning for a 1988 924S
My UK spec manual 1988 924S ( 160bhp) has the rather rare option M150 - runs on leaded gas . Does that mean that the car has actual more power than the standard 160bhp cat ones ?
Also , I am toying with the idea of some tuning - ECU / mapping. Any ideas on who can do this on a M150 car and if there are any examples of tuned late 924S with the M150 option on ?

Why? Same hp rating. Where do you get leaded gas nowadays anyway?
Wilks used to make a chip which changed the timing. More torque but less top end hp, just trading this for that. Matter of personal preference, I like it.

if your car runs leaded gas i would assume you dont have a cat or an O2 sensor as leaded gas will foul both.
there would be no power difference between the two models though, it's just an emissions difference.
dunno about Greece but there are some tuners in the UK who could help like Augment Automotive...

I am using unleaded 100 octane fuel in my 924S but i thought as it has no cat when compared to an identical 924S with a cat it would have more power ...?
