Default Porsche 924s

So today I have checked a lot of electrical on my Porsche 924s. I have found that I do not have a ground to my coil which is not grounding my plugs, also I have no ground to my injectors. I have positive, but no ground at ignition on either. Could this be as simple as a bad ECU? I have replaced the ref. and speed sensor, put in a new DME relay. I have checked all fuses and they seem fine, no breaks. What am I missing to get this car to start? I’m thinking it’s the ECU, but I would like your input. Thanks Matthew.

Although I have zero experience with Porsche's I am experienced with other cars and sometimes a fuse might look good and even work on occasion but not really work good consistently. I would change out the fuses for good measure.

The ECU switches the ground of the ignition coil when it wants to fire the plugs.
So if the DME is not running the car there isn't a ground. The +12v is hot with ignition switch.

Has anyone else changed the harness side of the reference connectors before? To my amazement there is a shielded wire wrapping them that becomes a wire with an open barrel terminals. What do you guys use to disconnect the terminals from the connectors? I’m going to finish a few things before putting in the new ECU I purchased off EBay for $225.
