One of the previous owners had converted it to dual carburetors, and I ended up putting it in storage for almost 3 years now. I replaced the battery and it started up like the engine was still warm.
Gonna get it registered and back on the road within the next 2 weeks. Wish I found out it was already exempt earlier this year!

JUst pray is hasn't fallen out of the computer. Just because a car does not need to be smog _tested_ does not mean it is exempt from the law. If you have to have the VIN checked at the DMV, you may fail "Visual" smog.

When I bought my 1974 911 the car was unregistered fro 1996 to 2003. Even though I had all of the California paperwork, it was no longer a VIN recognized by the California DMV. I had to bring the actual car into the DMV for a VIN check. And while I was there, they checked and verified the car had not been modified, even though it was a 1974 and exempt.
